The claims of unrivalled beauty, uncomplicated
charm and intriguing antiquity exist not only in the words of the
guide-book authors but are written on the back of every postcard
home with the experience and enthusiasm of the thousands of regular
visitors.
North Cyprus is the furthest east you can venture in
the Mediterranean, with Turkey just 40 miles away.
Castles, ruins and religious relics nestle in the mountains
of the North while the lower hills hide woodland walks and rare
species of birds and butterflies. The lowlands give shelter to a
natural diversity of flowers and creatures that is unmatched in
the Mediterranean. The coast has ancient harbours and beaches that
stretch for miles while the depth of the sea offers many of the
Mediterranean’s best dive sites.
The best place to enjoy the Cyprus sunshine is at the
beach, and with many, many miles of coastline, there are plenty
of clean and beautiful beaches to choose from. |

North
Cyprus became independent after the Turkish troops came to the island
to protect the Turkish Cypriots in 1974. It is now known as the
Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, (TRNC).
The British influence means that English is widely
spoken. Miles mix with kilometres on road signs, while everybody
drives on the left; British plug sockets are the standard and all
produce is weighed in kilos.
We fell in love with Northern Cyprus and purchased
property here and once you visit we are sure you will want to do
the same. So let North Cyprus Homes help realise your dream.
